1. Profile Picture

Inform the pro that a profile picture is their measure of authenticity on the app. People want to know that they are connecting with a real person. When uploading a profile picture, make sure that it shows your face, is clear (HD) and passport size.

Our self- verification model involves three steps that are mandatory. A pro must upload a valid National ID or Passport, verify their mobile phone number and email.

It is mandatory that every Balozy Pro provides a valid Kenyan Identity Document. This can either be a Kenyan ID or a Passport. 

When uploading your ID document, please ensure that you capture the side of the document with your face. This helps the system determine whether the face matches that on your profile and thus ascertains your true identity.

Ensure that you use an email address that is active and that you can access. The email verification One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to this email when verifying on the app and each time you request a password reset.

3. Phone Number

We ask for a valid Kenyan phone number to ensure that we can communicate to you and that clients can also get in touch with you directly.

3. Featured Projects Images

When signing up or even after registering, you are required to upload high resolution images of featured projects or works you have done. These help build confidence in potential clients that you are up to task and can deliver as per client expectations.
