A Balozy pro is an independent contractor who has been vetted by Balozy and can use the Balozy app to connect with clients looking for someone to assist with home or business projects.
Please note that Balozy is not the employer and Balozy pros are not employees.
Balozy provides a platform for connecting clients to service providers. When subscribing to the service, any person agrees to the T’s and C’s outlining that Balozy cannot be held responsible or liable for the service provided by the Balozy pro. By using the Service, you agree to hold the Company free from responsibility for any liability or damage arising from the transaction or interaction involved. Balozy, the company, verifies the validity of the person signing up. We collect verified phone numbers, email addresses, and national Id information. From time to time, we will do a background check to confirm the validity of the Balozy pro by requiring good conduct police-verified documents. These checks might not reveal any cause for concern at the time of bookings, so interview and vet the pros accordingly and report any problems to us immediately so we can take action.
When interacting with service providers, you should exercise caution and common sense to protect your safety and property, just as you would when interacting with other persons you don’t know

Balozy provides a platform for connecting clients to service providers. All Balozy pros have complete control over their operational areas and the days they choose to work. They are required to manage their bookings via the Balozy app and ensure a high level of service is offered at all times.
Processing time may vary by individual, but most registrants are able to begin projects within four business days of finishing registration. You’ll receive a notification once your registration is processed. If we need additional information from you to process your registration, we will reach out.
When a customer hires you on Balozy, you’ll work directly with the client to figure out payment plans. Before you start on a client’s job, keep these tips in mind:
- Write out a contract before the work begins. This sets expectations and keeps you and the customer on the same page.
- Keep your receipts. Whether or not you share receipts with your customers, receipts are helpful if you need to record your expenses later.
- Consider requiring a deposit at the beginning of your jobs. If you do, be sure to set a clear refund policy.
- Check in often with the customer throughout the job. Send photos, email, and text updates, whatever works best for you and the customer.
- Be upfront about extra costs that could come up. This can help you avoid price disagreements later.
- When receiving payment by check, it’s best to wait for the check to clear before completing work
