At Balozy, safety and trust are pillars of our services. To assure safety and trust is always maintained, we have introduced various actions which provide safety to both our workers- our ambassadors and clients. One of these actions is requiring all workers to pass a screening session.

As the service provider marketplace, we must be accountable to our city and county community at large. This means acting with integrity in everything we do, building the checks and balances that keep us honest, and operating with transparency
To become a Balozy pro, you will need to meet the following requirements:
Step1. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.

Upload a profile picture (clear photo that shows your face)

Be able to work in one of our active cities. You can see a full list of cities here

Consent to an ID check. This helps keep our platform safe for all users.

We will require background checks from the DCI from pros. Profiles will be heavily vetted. Honesty and transparency are our focus. We’re a company built on integrity and safety for all.

Have a smartphone and a valid phone number. You’ll be managing your tasks through our Balozy app, which is compatible with iOS or Android.
Step 2. Load your documents
Upload your valid National Identity card with a valid phone number. Your legal name should be used on your profile and should match your national ID identification. Balozy will validate this requirement.
All service providers (Balozypros) phone numbers are verified by an SMS/Email OTP integrated into the app system.
Service providers can start work once these requirements are verified and met.
Step 3. Results
It takes 4-7 business days to get back the results of the screening.
Once the screening has been completed the Balozy Pro (worker) shall receive a text message that they have either passed or failed the screening test. The worker who has passed screening, their Balozy Pros profile in the app will become active right away. The Balozy Pro can now start receiving requests for jobs from clients/customers.
If the Pro fails the screening, Balozy unfortunately will not be able to partner with the service professional (pro)
